He’s turing 70 this year – the Italian designer Roberto Cavalli, but that doesn’t keep him from creating fashion for the young and gifted. This time Cavalli stayed true to what he’s best at: Combining boho chic and a red carpet look. The ingredients? Animal prints, metallic embellishments, transparency and an easygoing silhouette. The outcome? Not a bit old school – but Mr. Cavalli is a gentlemen anyways and showed up with his wife Eva on the caltwalk after the defilee.

Der gebürtige Florentiner, der seine Karriere 1972 begann, zeigte auch diese Saison wieder, dass er es vesteht Textilien in glamouröse Mode zu verwandeln. Seine Zutaten – und da bleibt sich Signore Cavalli treu – waren Opulenz, Transparenz, Animal-Prints und das alles zusammengemixt zu einem Boho trifft Red-Carpet-Look. Kein bißchen Alte Schule. Aber die Manieren des Herrn Cavalli zum Glück schon – denn seine Frau Eva hält er stets hoch und zeigte sich auch nach dem Defilee mit ihr auf dem Catwalk.
