Just opened: The exhibition “Wolfgang Joop – Fashion Fantasy” at LUMAS gallery in New York just opened. For one month you may take a look at selected illustrations the designer made between 1973 to 2007. If you won’t make it to NYC until march 10th – here’s a second recommendation: There’s a new book about the german designer and his label Wunderkind by german publishing house Collection Rolf Heyne. On about 560 pages the book compiles not only illustrations but ads, collection and runway photos and much more. It comes in an elegat linen slipcase.

Wunderkind hoch zwei: Seit gestern gibt es in der New Yorker LUMAS Galerie die Ausstellung “Wolfgang Joop – Fashion Fantasy” zu sehen. Gezeigt werden dort Modeillustrationen des Designers aus Potsdam aus den Jahren 1973 bis 2007. Die Ausstellung läuft noch bis zum 10. März. Für alle, die es bis dahin nicht nach Big Apple schaffen – vor Kurzem ist im Verlag Collection Rolf Heyne ein Buch über das Schaffen des Designers und sein Label Wunderkind eschienen. Im edlen Leinenschuber und auf 560 Seiten gibt es ebenfalls Illustrationen, sowie Mode- und Runway-Fotos, Werbekampagnen und vieles mehr zu sehen.
